Terms & Conditions
Last updated: May 2026
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern all services provided by HaulYEG ("we", "us", "our") to the customer ("you", "client"). By booking, requesting a quote, or receiving services from HaulYEG, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
HaulYEG provides junk removal, garbage hauling, litter pick, and related property maintenance services in Edmonton, Leduc, and surrounding Alberta communities. The specific scope, pricing, and schedule for each job are confirmed in writing via quote, work order, or recurring service agreement.
2. Quotes & Pricing
Quotes are free and valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated. Pricing is based on the information provided by the client and visual assessment. Final pricing may be adjusted on-site if actual volume, weight, access difficulty, or material type differs materially from the original quote. Any change will be communicated and approved before work proceeds.
3. Booking & Confirmation
Jobs are confirmed once a date and time are scheduled in our system. We will provide an arrival window. If we are running late we will notify you as soon as possible. Larger commercial work may require a signed estimate or service agreement before work begins.
4. Payment Terms
Residential and one-time jobs: payment is due upon completion. We accept e-transfer, credit card, and debit. Commercial accounts: invoiced monthly on net-15 terms unless otherwise agreed in writing. Overdue balances are subject to a 2% monthly interest charge (24% per annum) and may be sent to collections. Returned payments incur a $50 fee.
5. Deposits
Jobs over $1,000 or recurring contracts may require a deposit of up to 25% to confirm scheduling. Deposits are non-refundable if the client cancels within 24 hours of the scheduled date.
6. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Please provide at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Same-day cancellations, lockouts, or no-access arrivals may incur a $75 trip fee. Recurring service cancellations require 30 days' written notice.
7. Site Access & Client Responsibilities
The client is responsible for: (a) providing safe, legal access to the property and items; (b) ensuring items are ready for removal at the agreed time; (c) identifying any items that should NOT be removed; (d) obtaining any required permits, condo board approvals, or landlord permissions. HaulYEG is not responsible for items mistakenly removed when not clearly marked.
8. Items We Do Not Haul
For safety and legal reasons we do not transport: hazardous waste, paint, solvents, oils, propane tanks, asbestos, biohazards, medical waste, ammunition, or chemicals. If such items are encountered we will leave them on-site and recommend a proper disposal facility.
9. Property Damage
HaulYEG carries commercial general liability insurance and is WCB covered. Any damage caused by our crew during the course of work must be reported within 48 hours of job completion in writing. We are not liable for: pre-existing damage; damage to items being removed; damage caused by structural issues, narrow access, or unstable surfaces disclosed or undisclosed by the client; or damage to underground utilities, sprinklers, or invisible fixtures not marked by the client.
10. Disposal & Recycling
HaulYEG sorts items for donation, recycling, and proper disposal where reasonable. Title to removed items transfers to HaulYEG upon pickup. We may donate, recycle, resell, or dispose of items at our discretion. The client waives any claim to removed items once loaded.
11. Photos & Marketing
HaulYEG may take before/after photos of work performed for quality control and marketing purposes (website, social media, advertising). Photos will not show identifying personal information, faces, or property addresses without written permission. If you do not want photos taken, please notify us in writing before the job begins.
12. Satisfaction & Disputes
If you are not satisfied with the work, contact us within 24 hours of completion and we will make reasonable efforts to correct the issue. Any dispute not resolved informally will be governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and resolved in the courts of Alberta.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HaulYEG's total liability for any claim arising out of services provided is limited to the amount paid by the client for the specific job giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always posted at haulyeg.com/terms. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
